8/Feb/07: AWARD WINNING DIRECTORS OF 'LITTLE MISS SUNSHINE', JONATHAN DAYTON AND VALERIE FARIS: TO BE HONORED AS SPIRIT OF SILVERLAKE RECIPIENTS Before Jonathan Dayton and Valerie Faris made history as the first married co-directors to have a film nominated for a Best Picture Academy Award (Little Miss Sunshine), the couple were renowned internationally as music video makers for many of music’s biggest stars. They also had parallel and successful careers in commercials and documentary film. The couple will be honored with the Spirit of Silver Lake Award and their pre-“Sunshine” work will be celebrated in a special showcase at the 7th Silver Lake Film Festival, Los Angeles, May 3-12. ------------ |

Silver Lake Film Festival announced today at CES a partnership with MediaZone, a leading global online broadcaster, to provide content for three new online Social TV channels.
